We created this blog for friends and family, near and far, to be a part of our first pregnancy. Thank you all for your love and support as we prepare to welcome baby Phruksukarn into this world on February 11, 2011.

35 Weeks
We went to the doctor this week and had an ultrasound to view the baby's position. Luckily, he is in the head down position, which means I should be able to avoid a c-section- yay!
He is still predicted to be average weight when born, but it looks like he may be taller than the average baby, based on measurements the Dr took of his femur bone.
The baby's room is being painted today, and then we'll be able to start putting it together :)
Time is going by too quickly, as I feel like I have a lot to wrap up at work before going on maternity leave. At the same time, I cannot wait for the baby to arrive- we are very excited to meet our little one!!
I'm still feeling good, but beginning to get a bit more tired these days. I'm sure that is partly due to keeping myself quite busy, but I'm certainly looking forward to maternity leave when I don't have to wake up to an alarm. I'm still trying to stay active by walking, going to the gym, or doing pre-natal yoga. I've put on 18 pounds total so far, and am beginning to get uncomfortable when bending over to tie my shoes.
We have a full day crash course this weekend on "Childbirth Preparation", so I'm sure we will be enlightened about the next steps in this process!
